Greater Vail Area Chamber of Commerce Announces the First Annual Celebration of Vail

Join the Greater Vail Area Chamber of Commerce as they welcome Congresswoman Martha McSally to the first annual Celebration of Vail: People, Purpose and Passion.

VAIL, ARIZONA (MARCH 2016) – Thriving communities deserve to be celebrated. These are the areas of town built by the hands of dedicated volunteers, committed government organizations and small families of devoted residents. When the board of the Greater Vail Area Chamber of Commerce discussed the tremendous successes of Southern Tucson, it was clear they needed to put on an event to honor the accomplishments. This year, the first annual Celebration of Vail will kick off to distinguish the greater Vail community’s people, purpose and passion – an honor that deserves recognition on a grand scale.

The event will be held on April 8, 2016 starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Pima Air & Space Museum. For the first hour, professionals, community members and dignitaries will rub elbows and network with one another as each person’s accomplishments are discussed.

At 6:30 p.m., dinner will be served and several speakers will be brought to the stage to highlight some of the year’s successes. This portion of the evening will include an award handed out by the elected members on the board of the Greater Vail Area Chamber of Commerce to the “Member of the Year.” Nominations for this award are being accepted through March 18 on the Greater Vail Area Chamber of Commerce website.

For the final portion of the evening, Congresswoman Martha McSally will take the stage to discuss the importance of community, the current governmental efforts that will impact the greater Vail area and Tucson. She will also discuss the issues faced by Southern Arizona going forward. The talk will include reference to the A-10 efforts and challenges that impact this region.

Tickets are available for purchase to the public. Greater Vail Area Chamber of Commerce members pay $50 per person and non-members pay $65. Sponsorships are available. Visit greatervailchamber.com to learn more.
